In this series, travelling to La Mancha, the destination of the literary genius Cervantes and his production of Don Quixote, I use the figure as a metaphor to look at the nature of distortion of reality and misperception. The figure suffers from bouts of hubris and delusion in Cervantes brilliant tale of a Knight errant, looking for adventures.
