This series represents an exploration via landscape of the concept of 'horror vacui' or the fear of empty spaces or the void. Using industrial landscapes to explore the notion of filling space, I look at how we systematically design our landscapes unconsciously to reflect inner fears and insecurities about leaving things alone to be as they are. The series was shot in Spain in 2020 in various locations where the landscape was seen to be disturbed or interrupted by human industrial activity.
